What is actually on our pages

Each page carries a single video presentation and very little else. Around it sits a short summary of what the presentation covers, chapter by chapter, so you can decide in a minute or two whether the rest is worth your time. Below that there is usually a plain note on the general subject — written to be useful on its own, with no claims attached to it — and a short list of the questions we are asked most often.

There are no reader letters on our pages, no comment threads and no star ratings. We do not collect or publish messages from visitors, so nothing you read here is another customer's account presented as evidence. If a page ever appears to carry one, it belongs to the advertiser's material and is labelled accordingly.

Why the ordering link waits

The link to the advertiser does not appear until the presentation has reached the part that explains the offer. This is not a trick to hold you on the page — it is the same position the video itself reaches, and the reason for it is straightforward. The offer only makes sense alongside the explanation that precedes it: what the thing is, how it is meant to be used, what the schedule looks like and what it costs. Handing over a checkout link before any of that has been said would be selling to someone who has not been told what they are buying.

If you would rather not wait, closing the page is the honest option and we would rather you took it than sat through something you have already decided against.

How we are paid

Two arrangements keep a page like this online. An advertiser pays for the placement, which is why every page carries a sponsorship label at the top and a disclaimer in the footer. Separately, if you follow a link from here and buy at the other end, the seller may pass us a share of the sale. The price you pay is the same either way; that share comes out of the seller's margin.

Being paid at all depends on being able to show that a particular click began on our page, which is the entire purpose of the parameters on our outbound links and the cookies we set. The Privacy Policy sets out what that collects and how long it is kept.

What we do not do

We are a publisher. We do not make, pack, stock or ship anything, we do not take payments, and we take no part in whatever happens after you leave for the advertiser's site. Every statement about what a product contains or how it is meant to be used comes from the advertiser, is made on the advertiser's authority, and remains the advertiser's to defend. We do not verify those statements independently, and we prefer to say so in plain words rather than let a tidy layout imply otherwise.

We also do not give advice of any kind about your health, and nothing on our pages should be read as though we had. Questions of that sort belong with a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Corrections

Pages go stale. A number ages out, a label disappears in an edit, a claim reaches further than it should and gets past us. Write in, name the page and say what is wrong with it. If you are right, the page changes — a correction has always cost less than an argument.

The one thing outside our reach is an order that has already been placed. We cannot see it, cannot change it and cannot refund it, and that conversation belongs with whoever took the payment.
